At The S Way, every outfit begins with a woman and her story. Our customers don’t just come to us for clothes—they come with dreams, insecurities, pride, memories, and hope. And we listen. We understand. We translate. With every drape, cut, colour, and weave, we shape not just garments—but reflections of who she truly is.

She brings her vision, and we bring our craftsmanship. Together, we co-create fashion that uplifts, empowers, and celebrates her. She is our muse, our canvas, our collaborator. This bond—real, evolving, and deeply personal—is the thread that holds The S Way together.

1. We Are Size Positive
Story of Riniki Das, Tezpur
Riniki had always loved fashion but found herself constantly left out of the conversation. Brands didn’t cater to her size, and it began to chip away at her confidence. But when she found us, she clicked on our “Looking for Customisation?” button—and we began her transformation.
We designed a beautiful kurta that flattered her shape, celebrated her spirit, and made her feel radiant. This wasn’t just about fabric—it was about healing the scars society left behind. When she wore her custom-made TSW outfit, she didn’t just smile—she shone. That is our greatest reward.

2. Style Consultations That Uplift
Story of Anamika Boro, Jorhat
Anamika had doubts about a colour. As someone with a dusky complexion, she’d internalised the idea that certain shades weren’t for her. But beauty isn’t one-tone-fits-all—and we were ready to show her that.
She used our customisation tab, and we walked her through the basics of colour theory, inspired by Korean personal colour styling. With our guidance, she chose a rich teal shade for her kurta—one that made her features pop and her confidence bloom.
It was no longer about what society thought suited her.
It was about what made her feel beautiful.

3. A Mother-Daughter Moment to Remember
Story of Tarali & Malati, Guwahati
For Mother’s Day, Tarali had a heartfelt vision—to twin with her mother, Malati, at her office celebration. She didn’t want anything generic. She wanted something rooted, meaningful, and proudly handloom.
We designed a graceful draped dress in soft handwoven fabric for Tarali, and a classic kurta-pyjama co-ord for Malati in a matching palette. When they walked in, they weren’t just twinning—they were glowing.
Two women. Two generations.
One powerful statement of pride, grace, and togetherness.
And yes, they bagged all the compliments!

4. A Bride’s Dream, Tailored with Love
Story of Neelakshi Phukan, Dibrugarh
All Neelakshi had was a colour palette and a dream. And with that, we set out to create a bridal ensemble unlike any other.
We dyed silk yarns from scratch, carefully selected motifs that enhanced her silhouette, and wove the fabric in-house. Her blouse was especially designed to gently conceal areas she felt conscious about—because no bride should feel anything less than stunning on her big day.
The result? A regal, custom-made TSW lehenga that captured her essence. When she walked down the aisle, she wasn’t just a bride—she was a vision. A woman owning her moment.

Weaving Confidence, One Story at a Time
At The S Way, we don’t just stitch fabric—we sew self-esteem, pride, culture, and courage into every outfit. These stories are only a glimpse of what happens every day behind our seams.
We’re here to create not just beautiful clothes, but powerful experiences. Because fashion should never exclude—it should empower.
And to every woman reading this—
You are already complete. You are already worthy.
Let us dress you in a way that reflects just that.

With all our heart,
Team TSW

Romanticizing monsoon has been eternal. Can we ever not feel a blush on our cheeks thinking about the first rain, a cup of coffee in a café while enjoying the rain or a romantic evening in a side table drinking wine, loving the art that the window glass has become with those sparkling rain drops! Monsoon is pure love. Well, while such a lovely season has arrived what do we see ourselves wearing? What really makes us fall in love with the one standing in front of the mirror during this season? While these thoughts were going on in my mind, I could hear the sound of rainfall and yes, there was a smile.

It’s true that monsoon comes with its own challenges, wet streets, muddy shoes and not so perfect hair sometimes. However, I see a glass half full. I cannot emphasize enough that the idea of a gracefully worn white kurta over a blue denim (could be distressed adding on to the style), oxidized jhumkaas, kohled eyes and a bindi, hair open, slides for feet and a vibrant umbrella, the sight of a lady adorning this look in the rain would feel like a Sun sprinkling sunshine on everyone around.

I relate rain to poetry and a look that comes to my mind thinking of poetry is an ankle length dress in solid colours from earthy tones, a pair of beautiful tie up sandals , a big handbag which can accommodate monsoon essentials (like an umbrella, mini towel etc),  a high bun, hoop earrings or something minimal as an accessory. Imagine a girl stunningly styled in this look standing outside a café waiting for her cab while it is raining, won’t that sight bring some poetic thoughts to those around her? “The sparkle of the rain drops faded at her glance, the knots on her curls held the stories untold….”

Fun fashion is something I absolutely love to do. By this I mean play with vibrant colours, some quirky outfit choices and carrying the look like a boss. An oversize graphic T shirt with some vibrant colours on it with a bold short skirt in a loud colour or a denim distressed shorts, with red/yellow/green/ gum boots and a fancy raincoat (the vinyl transparent ones) and there you go. This monsoon look will be the coolest one anybody would ever spot. I for one would style like this monsoon or no monsoon!

This was my take on monsoon fashion that I wrote sipping a cup of hot tea, overlooking the grey-green play of the clouds and nature. Happy styling and happy monsoon.
